I started this class a long time ago, but I am finally getting around to posting my project! 

I am a graphic designer/web designer/blogger / new Skillshare teacher currently located in Tampa, Florida. I'll be moving to the Los Angeles area soon, which will be a new exciting adventure for me! 

 

I've been working on putting more focus on curating my Instagram feed. I do a lot of work with AIGA Tampa Bay, so a lot of my posts have been from past events. I want to get better at making my feed consistent, which probably means I'll have to stop sharing as many of the event photos (and maybe just post those in my Insta Stories or Twitter instead).

My first Skillshare course was recently listed as a featured Skillshare class, which was super exciting for me! Instead of just posting a screenshot of the featured section, I used photoshop to place it inside of a more engaging graphic that included text in the same style as the branding for my course. It is currently the top trending post in the hashtag #teachyourself, which reaches the right audience of people who want to teach themselves something online, and #girlswhocode, which reaches a similar audience who may be interested in following me.
