Thank you, Donna, I am actually doing this one again.  I printed the original picture and I am having another try.

It's not a disaster at all, Margaret!  You were able to clearly convey that this is 2 chefs cooking - good job!

This is so cool, Margaret! It looks like it was a lot of fun. I am a cook - better at that than painting. I'll have to take this class! Don't sell yourself short - I wouldn't be able to do as well as you did, but I'll give it a try.

Gee thanks Shannon, I didn't see the real picture, that was why there was a lot of anomalies in it.  I finally got a print out and I am doing this one again.  Hopefully I can do it more justice.  I hope to see your painting soon too.  

I'm glad you are doing this one again. I can't believe you didn't see the reference photo.I like the colors you chose for your palette. I also get a real feeling of this event, or scene, from your painting. There are parts that are "vague" for lack of a better word, which allowed my imagination to fill in some details, which was a nice effect to me.

Margaret, you certainly haven’t let me down! 😄 This is a complicated scene with lots going on, and I think you’ve captured the atmosphere and action really well. I especially like all that wonderful steam drifting across the scene. And the fact that you had fun and want to try it again is far more important than getting everything right first time!

Thank You so much Will.  I printed the coloured picture out.  And I have it drawn, ready now to paint again.   I hope i do it more justice this time.  

Tried to do this without a print out of the real photo.  (Ran out of ink in my printer.)  This was a disaster, but I will do it all again.  It was fun, I did try to make sense out of it all.  Tho I failed badly.  Sorry Will, for letting you down.
