Line Engraving Effect in Adobe Photoshop

Looks great, Mariya! I love the way the first photograph of the house turned out—a great example of an alternative approach with all of the details being still there, it would screen print amazingly:) I would love to see a close-up too;) With the portrait you might have to make the lines more pronounced in the image, try reducing the size of the original photograph, but keeping the pattern the same. Also adding a wavy line pattern on the background (the same way as I have on the class cover) would make the face not covered with the pattern stand out:) Thanks a lot for posting your project:) —Evgeniya

I agree on the larger wave length, I also increased the space between my lines. Especially love the portrait!

Such a cool technique! =D Spent all morning trying it on different pictures. I think I need a larger wave length to make effect more visible, but I do like how it turned out as it is =D
