Trees of joy

Trees of joy - student project

What a great class! I took my time to explore the subject, think and analyze trees (even on my trip to the store, heheh). Even if it is not my first time drawing a tree, I feel I could understand it better and get closer to the results I want to achieve. Alright, tree time!

(watercolors) extra note: I'm growing chives and seems like their cute tiny  bulbs made an impression on me... so this is a chive's bulb-shaped tree with pink leaves, ou yeah. If you can dream it, you can paint it!.

(gouache) pink moss, which originally looked like lava flowing out.

I had fun and really want to get better at making fantasy looking trees  \o/ Oh! and I love feedback, feedback is my friend.

Thank you Sarah!

ETA: Forgot to add my chicken tree!!! When I go to store, the roots of the pine trees on the side of the path remind me of bird legs, and so my chicken tree was born:

Also forgot to add these ones, yep, I really enjoyed experimenting :D
