Thank you! Being intentional about the light has a bit of a learning curve. I was surprised that buildings farther away would be lighter; I believe that is what you said?

Hey Sarah yep, it's one of the features of atmospheric or aerial perspective :) Objects in further in the background appear lighter and more towards the cooler end of the colour spectrum.

I did two sketches of the city scene for the first project. I keep looking back and forth between the two and see things I like more in different parts of each.
