Tiny Treasures

I've always been a fan of tiny things, I think it started when I used pocket money to get my Mum something from an antique shop (she loves old, unusual things). All I could afford was a tiny old salt spoon, but we both adored it.
Now I've got a jar of tiny stars, a bonsai tree, and a slightly out-of-hand collection of miniature sketchbooks...
They are so handy for having a little book with me on the go, whether it's for painting or drawing. I've particularly enjoyed the one I made form recycled packaging paper - I used these for tonal drawings where the colour of the paper provides the 'mid tone' colours, leaving you free to just add in the whites and blacks for shadows and highlights. It makes for a super-fast drawing.
I hope you have fun making and using these tiny treasures too!
