Nice work! I wouldn't really call anything a mistake in art, as I'm not too sure of the style that you're going for. So the suggestions here are based on my original painting, which is tighter in nature.I'd say that it'll help to make the edges of your painting cleaner. I can see that you're generally using quite a heavy load on your brush, which is why small details such as the print of the cloth napkin and the lid are not too defined. This happens when your brush has too much water and paint and as the water travels out of your brush too fast, it puddles up due to the heavy load. I'd recommend for you to dab your loaded brush on tissue before applying the paint, especially on smaller areas, this way you can make a more detailed painting :)If this is something you want to practice, I actually have a class on brush and water control :) Hope this helps!
