Three Ways to Ogee in Affinity Designer

Three Ways to Ogee in Affinity Designer - student project

Hey everyone! I hope you're having fun creating ogee designs, three ways, using Affinity Designer. I love seeing the projects posted and am looking forward to seeing more. In the meantime, here are a few of mine. I kept these pretty simple but you can also use your ogee shape as a template to create final motifs that ultimately form an ogee, without the stroke (see the last image)

Remember, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Happy Creating!Three Ways to Ogee in Affinity Designer - image 1 - student project

Ogee created using the Shape Builder tool and using the final shape as a template to create the leaves and the floral ogee shape for the design.

Ogee created using a single ellipse and filled with a series of ellipses to create a flame shape or peacock feather.

My favorite ogee. Created using a single wavy line created with the Pen and Node tools.

And a few more...
