I've finished the project and here is my final result:

 

I had a surprisingly hard time figuring out my "favourite" things. I thought about food, memories, or even objects to draw, but nothing felt fixed.

So I followed instinct instead and drew whatever came to mind. Since I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, I naturally gravitated towards kitchen objects. 

 

Then I thought about what can be a cohesive theme here – something that is not too easy to do, not too difficult... and I went with tea.

Inky part is fun.

I experimented with a lot of textures. I don't have a scanner, so I processed the ink image using my phone + CamScanner app.
