This is my firts piece so I used it to try textures and different threads.

I combined materials I had around the house, leftovers from other projects and used an IKEA ladder as an improvised loom. 

It was fun just to put this together and gave me a sense of what I can do if I actually design it first.

I enjoyed it and will try again making an effort on keeping it neat, there are far too many mistakes on this piece, but happy to get to finish it and learn.

Don’t ever be put off trying something new because you don’t have all the pro tools, you can make a loom out of a shoe box and buy one if you enjoy doing it!
