This t-shirt artwork is a visual tribute to my two decades living in the heart of Costa Rica — a country known for its vibrant landscapes, warm people, and the pure essence of life, captured by the phrase "Pura Vida."

The design combines real photography and hand-drawn illustration, merging nostalgic sunsets with bold black-and-white palm trees and a lone surfer, symbolizing peace, nature, and freedom. The coordinates (9.7489° N, 83.7534° W) anchor the artwork in a real place: Playa Naranjo, a quiet and breathtaking beach that holds deep personal significance.

Each element reflects the rhythm of Costa Rican coastal life — sun-drenched horizons, laid-back surf culture, and the ever-present sway of palms under a tropical sky. The “Wild Wave” surfboard subtly hints at the adventurous soul of this land.
