Great class, I really enjoy Amy’s classes. She is so knowledgable that she hits the lesson points right on target. I have learned so much about watercolor and urban sketching from her that it motivates me to continue trying do art.

Anyways, I did this class a long time ago and said someday I will try monochrome. Well, today was that someday. As usual I only had my bullet journal, and my portable watercolor set. The bullet journal doesn’t take watercolor all that well, but I was pleasantly surprised it came out better than I thought.  

The drawing was killing me - so many angles and perspectives. I finally finished the drawing; it looked ok. But when I hit it with the dark tones I was panicking, OMG what have I done. I continued layer by layer and then I had the Voila moment.
