I lost interest when it came to the weirder angles and really just applied guesswork while half-watching the videos; the knowledge I was after came in the first few examples, and these are clearly better sketches as I followed the lessons more closely. I took a fairly loose approach to the rules that were explained, but the results are an improvement on what I was previously doing - sketching and guessing with no rules in mind whatsoever.
