"Friends Don't Lie"

I finally got some time to finish Stranger Things this weekend and it left me rather inspired. When this class popped up, I wanted to letter some stuff from the series. With the show's intro now permanently burned into my brain, I couldn't help but gravitate towards the logo style, but wanted to make it a bit more rough around the edges. I began sketching out this phrase in the style of the logo and through referencing some images on google quickly discovered that others have had the same idea. Oh well, no turning back now. There are a ton of shirts with similar concept already online. I really wanted to do all of the lettering by hand. Here is the process.
