Hi Carole,Good work with the swirls - I know it can get confusing with what goes where. There are some strong darks and lights right next to each other in a few swirls at the top centre - ideally you'd have a soft transition between these which will create more of a 3D effect. You've done this perfectly on the top right hand swirl!Up to you if you want to add those transitions to soften the divide between light and dark on the individual swirls, even without using the photo reference. But you might be over it already!The cone texture is a good start. You could add a touch of dark to some of those waffle squares, especially closer to the top.Overall a good job for a challenging project - well done!Emily
