Sketchbook Play
I decided to work in acrylic ink marker for my sketchbook time today. I used my Arrtx sets. I've been wanting to improve my landscapes lately, both real and imagined.
This first page was one I started a few months ago, but abandoned because I wasn't really happy with it. I did more work on it today in the spirit of what's the worst thing that could happen...it's just my sketchbook so no pressure. It's still not perfect, but I like it better than before and I think it makes a great concept sketch. This one I didn't use any references, just drew from imagination.

These next two, I worked from references. The first one I followed along with a YouTube video from Emily Hughes Art (Sketch with me! Trying Arrtx Acrylic Markers). I absolutely love her artwork and I wanted to try and capture the look of it as best as I could. She had the reference up in the corner while she did a sped up demo, so I tried to work from the reference as much as possible while implementing the techniques she used.
The second one is painted from my own reference that I took in Colorado Springs at Garden of the Gods.
