I created floral images, both realistic and abstract, with ink and brush. Then created vector images, colored them, and arranged them to create simple repeat patterns. I ended up eyeballing it and using other measurements to create the repeat because the transformation tool didn't work for me as explained. Other than that I learned several useful things and understand how to create a repeat pattern in Inkscape.
