Hi Katia! Wow you work fast! And look at that Damask pattern! So beautiful. That medallion center is just exquisite. And I love the delicate composition of the flowers and leaves. Isn't it fun to create those reflected motifs? So how did you find creating the negative/positive spaces? Difficult or was it easy to keep track of? Keep going, and I'd love to see what else you create!  /Bärbel

Thanks Barbel! I haven't watched the whole class yet, I was eager to create a pattern so I just did the simpler one :-) I am in the process to watch the rest of the class so I can create more complex damask. With this first one it was ok to create the negative/positive spaces and making the pattern with AI is so much fun!
Thanks for the class it's just fantastic and you don't really get anyone else teaching about classic patterns like these.

It's good to do things step by step like you do. I even recommend to do a few of the simple type and then move on to the next one. For every pattern you create you learn SO much. And it's just more fun for every version you create, that's how I've experienced it anyway.
