This was a great class presented by Irina. Too bad, my drawing does not look like the others. I drew my painting. First I drew the angel, then the wreath. The wreath look great.  However, I was making this an Artist Trading Card (ATC) so the size was quite small. Like a playing card. I actually used a playing card. It was the Queen of Diamonds. Having to draw it so small was the challenge. On the same card, I must have attempted it 4-5 times. Well first it looked like someone's grandmother. (Darn, I should have taken a picture of that. It actually was very cute in an abstract kind of way.)  Na, was not working for me. I decided to alter it by mixing up colours. It then looked like a cameo of the "grandmother" Still far away from the intended project. By this time, I was ready to give up. What you see is my last attempt. I went in a totally different direction. Not by choice mind you. So this "angel" is now wearing a ball gown, with pink angel wings and pink flowers in her hair. I even added a rhinestone piece to make myself feel better. I want to be perfectly clear. I have not given up. I am going to do some chores that I am sitting down again to make it look somewhat like Irina was teaching us. Crossing my fingers!

 

I gave it another attempt. See cover photo. I did it rather quickly as I snuck some time in on Christmas Day!
