Equipment: I don’t need anything too fancy to complete my film. I simply want to make a short 12 minute documentary film of the last 50 years built on a small Christian camp in Little Iowa.

2 cameras: Sony alpha 7IV, Sony S7ii.

microphone: Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun, Sennheiser MKH 50.

Lighting: Aputure Nova P300c PGB LED Light Panel.

Software: premier pro, artlist.

& gimbal

hires: sound guy,PA, editor, Musician, Marketing manager, secretary.

One of the main things that I feel that I am not able to do among many things is the marketing part of the film I know where to start with finding festivals, but to have all of that under control by someone you hired is really important.

set the lock line of my film: 50 years of building a little Christian camp in Iowa.

A plot of land was donated to a denomination in 1976 under the basis that the original 10 acres would be given to create a Christian camp. this camp has stood built by farmers and volunteers who poured their souls into the Jenkee unsquare steel buildings that children could call their home for one week, of rest and retreat. rest isn’t always guaranteed in fact it’s probably the opposite, in some corgi treasure hunting way, that always leads to more problems

 

My idea is to have the talents or witnesses. Tell the story as a pans back-and-forth from old pictures taken in the 80s 90s and early 2000s as you can see an evolution of the camp character of the people who ran it.

my goal is also to have the interviews take place near some memorials to people who help found the camp and contributed to it creation. so I want the talent to be interviewed in a sort of walkabout Vlog follow where they kind of are sharing the story as they’re walking along. or as they mention the name of the man or woman that the memorial is dedicated to a cut will pan to that thing if it’s a tree cross refrigerator, whatever.
