Short Form Video (NGO/NPO Funky Socks Day)

Idea
For this short-form piece, my goal was to tell the story behind Funky Socks Day and highlight the real impact each purchase can have. I wanted to move beyond a typical promotional approach and instead explore a more creative, story-driven angle.
The concept started as a rough idea sketched in my notebook, where I focused on how to visually and emotionally connect the product to its purpose. I aimed to translate something simple buying socks into something meaningful and impactful through storytelling.
Story
I began filming with the intention of bringing that idea to life using the resources I had available, focusing on composition, pacing, and voice-over to carry the narrative.
After completing this course, I was reminded of this piece and felt it would be valuable to revisit and share it for feedback. While the video has already been posted on the social platforms of the company I work for (with their approval), I see this as an opportunity to refine my approach further.
I’d really appreciate any feedback or advice on how I could have improved the storytelling whether through a more visual approach, stronger narrative structure, or a more creative execution overall
