I started with the feather, totally intending on following the little tokens, then had fun sketching birds. I really like the naturalistic watercolor sketches around conservation areas and used that as inspiration for a fun watercolor sketches of a Sharp-Shinned Hawk. I debated blending the edges of colors, and didn't, but can go back and change it because it's digital.
