This is fantastic work Andrea, don't be too hard on yourself, it took me absolutely ages to get used to using the darkest tones and you've pretty much hit them in your first few attempts.  There's so much to take from these studies, the smoothness of transitions to name but one. Try putting these drawings aside and don't look at them for a couple of weeks, and I bet you'll have a completely different opinion when looking at them with fresh eyes. and if you fancy adding a few mini touch ups here and there, you'll be more than willing to add them :)

i wasn’t as happy with my performance on this one! The hair on the dark tones gave me enough difficulties that I was OVER mouths by the time I got to the final project.
 
Looking forward to the neck and shoulders next, although I suspect the hair session will really make things come together.
