Scraps to "Treasure" Cards

Scraps to "Treasure" Cards - student project

From sone ancient stamping projects to more recent collage materials salvaged from watercolor scraps and experiments that seemed to big fails but then worked into recycle mode. Top is "Rosy Sunrise" and then two clipped apart watercolors to create cards to create a Paul Klee feel with the birds. The challenge-piece required some Mod-Podge and overlays of netting to pull it all together. Now looks ok but not what I originally conceived. Surprises are good!

This is the first Skillshare class I have attended since my granddaughter attended 3rd grade virtual school adjoining my studio space. Lest I interrupt her concentration, my activities were curtailed.

I rejoiced to stumble upon this class for recycling old artwork. It was perfect after almost a year of missing SkillShare, I was finally able to do a class and use what bits of watercolor scraps I had from the days before coaching virtual 3rd grade. Here, I present my interpretation of the assignment and am inclined to do more of this! Scraps to "Treasure" Cards - image 1 - student project
