I found some poppies and some sweet blue flowers as subjects. The blue flowers turned out well, I think, but the poppy feels washed out.

 

 

 

 

This plant with its red fruit (not berries) popped up in my garden. I had no idea what it was and googled it ... and it's a variety of nightshade!  This painting is a bit weaker; I find making realistic watercolor leaves difficult. Looking forward to more practice.
