Sample project Versatile Watercolor Stamping
Hi everyone!
Here's is my main sample project for the class. It is inspired by the beautiful autumn scenery we are having at the moment. I really had fun creating this and if you look at my class videos, you'll see that I actually made four different versions of the scene. One is in my art journal, the other three, I will give away to family and friends.
Below you'll find images of some of the additional tags that I am showing in the class, using the watercolor stamping technique with various types of stamps.
Autumn leaves and a fun zig-zag background, the latter being done with a background stamp.
Watercolor stamping works wonderfully for butterfly stamps, giving them a great variation of colour. The circle tags were done with a background stamp.
The tree looks great on a simple white background too, or use mainly green inks and turn it into a spring tree, as on the little box to the right.
I really hope you'll enjoy playing around with the techniques as much as I did.
Happy stamping!
