SUGRRR: "Mad. About sugar."
Sugrr has its roots in the frustrations my wife and I have had with finding natural sugar alternatives to the numerous snack products aimed at our 5- and 7-year old son and daughter. While it isn't difficult to steer our children's snack choices to fruit, yogurt and water; the marketing geared towards convincing them that they "need" sugary treats to satisfy themselves has creates an incredible amount of challenge for us. As a means of combating the influence of the "candy cartel", we routinely craft polymer clay "goodie" charms and talk with our children about the importance of limiting sweets while reinforcing the idea of making healthier snacking choices.
The Sugrrr brand advocates responsible refined sugar consumption among children and adolescents.
