Hi Class! This is an example of the images you are going to upload as your class project. 

You don't have to post everything at once, in fact, I like seeing your progress and you can ask questions along the way :) Scanned images or pictures are just fine. 

Start off with posting your warm up activities. As I mentioned in the video, you can do this on one sheet of paper, or use several sheets. The important thing is that you get the activities done so you have enough practice and understanding of the method before going on to painting gems/jewels. Do these as much as you feel necessary. 

Gemstone practice: 

You can choose any gemstone (or even a crystal) you want for inspiration or color reference. In my case I chose a Citrine. 

I just added the lettering as a final touch :) You can do this or not... it's up to you!

An finally, this will be your final project: 

I chose this aquamarine ring as my reference. Remember to find a nice picture of the piece of jewelry you want to paint. We do this class observing a photograph because we want to pay very close attention to the way reflections and light is captured in that very moment.
