This was my first attempt at flowers and filler. I liked the idea of dividing up the paper as it made the project feel less intimidating not having to fill the page in one attempt.I loved how the composition part of the lesson was explained. Being able to move the individual flowers and stems around really helped me with the concept of flow in a picture. 

Roses and petals, I found painting and then cutting out the shapes really helpful when trying to gage the sizes of things.

I have to say that actually painting the arrangement was really hard, this is going to take some practice before i feel totally comfortable with the concept, so here is my first arrangement, I don’t love it but in the interest of honesty here is what it looks like.
