Riverborne

Thank you Will for the gentle guidance and inspiring style. I fell like I'm learning let go more - to trust the mess, the splashes, and that feeling of something emerging through the page rather than being forced onto it.
What I like: the motion, the eyes, the way the colours feel alive, especially in the water.
What I’d like to revisit next time: softening the tail (it feels too loud for me), and easing up around the mouth as it got a bit overworked. I also want to explore more ways to dissolve the animal into its surroundings without losing its spirit.
This was an interesting one: not perfect, but honest. And I think that counts.
