You've really outdone yourself this time! Your mecha character looks awesome! It's so cool to see your vision for a character in this style, and even more impressive to know you modeled all of this! It looks fantastic! I really love how industrial and grounded your character design is. The sharper angles and intricate details on the arms and head really make it seem like this mech is bound by realistic physics and engineering. The heat vents across the entire body and plated helmet are some of my favorite details. As for the colors and rendering effects, they look equally cool! The bright and vibrant colors help bring back the anime aesthetic without detracting from the realism of the model. They also pair nicely with the outlines and softening compositing effects! Your choice to keep the background dimmed really makes this feel like a cinematic shot! It almost reminds me of a spotlight on a theater production! Very cool! Overall, another fantastic class project! Thank you so much for taking my class and sharing your hard work and creativity with us all! Also, thank you for the kind and thoughtful review! I don't have a specific class recommendation for you, as you already seem quite good at picking out what interests you haha... But I did want to let you know that I have a new class coming out soon! We'll be animating a black hole and asteroid belt in Blender, while also learning how to composite videos and add sound effects right in the software! I'm pretty excited for this one, so keep an eye out when it drops!

That sounds like an awesome course, looking forward to it. I have tried to focus on modeling courses in between yours with different techniques here and there as it seems like the place to start for a good foundation. In any case I was planning on checking out the cow with the UFO, then maybe vaporwave and magic of materials next. Thanks for the heads up!!

I like to practice my own modeling with these courses so I decided to create a mecha warrior bot.
