I used one of the blocks I made for the previous class. I did not have a really soft medium to carve into so it took more time than in the video example. I tried it out on paper but on fabric there were more of the carving marks,but I actually liked the marks. 

I decided I needed a roll for my watercolour brushes, though currently I don't have many. I found a pattern on line and used cotton from an old skirt for the lining, flap at the top and the tie was part of the waist band.

I am pleaed with the result, and an excuse to buy more brushes to fill it up.
