Reflect & Implement
Hello, I worked on a quote, reflect and implement. A challenging motto for learning from courses, reflect, what you’ve seen and think about what you can implement. Adés course was really good. I learned a lot from refining drawings and bezier curves.
Then I refined the sketches
Reworked it in procreate...
The next step was in Affinity Designer, drawing curves.
It felt a bit too clean, so I reworked the letters and added more weight... What I noticed during the process was, that my sketches were too much unrefined, so that it took longer to rework, refine the letters in Procreate.
After refining the curves, I took the letters back in Affinity Photo and added some texture and grain to polish the feeling. Here’s the final result:
