I ended up going for a walk after watching this class and came across a box of junk by the side of the road with a bunch of coloured file folders in it. I actually walked past at first then thought wait a minute those could work! I went back and snatched them up, here are the folders....

Here is the sketchbook the covers are an old box I had that had a book in it that was a nightmare to get in and out so I cut it up...

   Here is what I have done so far I used just the red and olive folders for now...It's fun to have a place to play and experiment, I'm not super happy with the gator it was a huge fail as to what i wax trying for but a great  experiment and I learned a lot. I like the chili peppers I got what I was going for there.

     I've been getting really inspired by the paintings done on pantone paint chips for implementing a colour background into the painting, made a Pinterest board for inspiration if I feel stuck as it's a different experience for sure. It's a fun challenge.
