Recovering Hobbies with Less Screentime

After taking this course I was able to finally tie up some loose ends with my "digital minimalism". I got instagram and reddit off of my phone and only use it during certain periods on my computer. I've been checking in with my body and mind more to see what I actually want to be doing in the moment instead of doomscrolling. What I like to do is journal, or just write, using my beautiful fountain pen inks. Letting my mind wander into whatever it feels and coming up with ideas that flow onto the page. I also get to pick colors that correspond with the season, and I'm actually making dents in the bottles now that I am writing so much.
I'm also enjoying hobbies more and getting them "done", per se. Enjoying comic books and manga like I am a kid during summer break, reading books from my tbr, and finally drawing my ideas. It's been a great time after freeing up my mind from this digital clutter. Also, with the photos I've been saving I am scrapbooking for the first time in three years.
