I decided to make a print of my in-laws cat - Quincy.  Here is the photo I started with.

Instead of using the computer to prepare the image, I traced it and sketched in the details.

This is my first time doing a carving like this and I'm loving it.  I'm not done yet but need to run to the store for the ink.  Here is my work in progress.
