Thank you! There is a lot more to mark making than meets the eye. I plan to study more of Vincent's drawing as well as picking materials that make marks. Part of this is like meditation for me as I have to slow down and think about what I am doing. I can't rush. I can't be impatient wit the process.

Joe, this is so exciting! In this pencil sketch, you have successfully abstracted the landscape. I recommend keeping your pencil marks light and minimalistic if you want to add ink to your sketch. I am so glad that you took the time to share your project! All the best :)

Once I got Started I can’t stop !
using a single lead common pencil and pressure. I got lost in the lights and darks knowing how many marks to make and which ones? It takes practice and patience! I’m concerned about inking
