I love what you did here, using an old water color project and whatever you had on hand. I started a little stash of items to use for collage, which I've not done, so I don't have much either, and I recognize a couple of things you have here as what I have saved as well. I also like the colors here . . . just a really neat project you can be happy with.

Thanks Shannon. Give it a try. I also want to make some collage papers just in case I watch something i like. ( see Jerney Marisha latest class). I just am not very tuned in to creating abstract. I do like to look at it and always wonder how they could come up with it.

That class does look like a fit for me. Thanks for the tip. One advantage of abstract is that it doesn't have to be a replica of something. "Errors" and mishaps can be overlooked or incorporated into the work. (That can happen with "realistic" works, too.) I didn't used to care for abstract as I didn't understand it, but I'm learning another way to look at it.

I love what you did, such an interesting twist on this project with using all watercolour papers. I think that would be a really cool assignment, cut up an existing watercolour or piece of art and reconstruct it in a linear pattern! Thank you for the inspiration, and for not letting anything stop you and using what you had on hand. My art director, Wiley LeChat, approves! This is way out of my comfort zone or expertise. I dont do collage so not much papers to chose from. I reused an old water color project. My best try.  I do like to watch these type classes but I dont "feel" them like I do about watercolor classes! Love the cat helping film the class.
