I was inspired by a recent post and beautiful portrait by a Skillshare friend and decided I wanted to try a portrait. I felt very anxious as I knew portraits would be a huge challenge for me. After looking at several Skillshare tutorials I picked this one, as I know Will is a wonderful teacher and this looked like a fun, expressive class. I absolutely loved this. I must say, each class with Will I learn more and more. I really concentrated on getting the light, mid, and dark tones more than actual colors used. My painting unfortunately didn't photograph well but I am happy with it and excited to have pushed myself to try something different. Thank you Kris for the inspiration and thank you Will for another fantastic class.
