Pleasant Words are a Honeycomb

Pleasant Words are a Honeycomb - student project

Both my mom and her sister celebrate their birthdays this month, and then there's mother's day, so I wrote out scriptures for them both. They'll both receive the Pleasant words... scripture from Proverbs, and then one each of the ones pictured below. The two framed ones are for my mother. Some of my capitals are a bit fancy - they incorporate flourishes. In the remaining capitals, I played around with width, angles, and stem lengths. I used Tombow Fudenosuke hard and soft tip brush pens for these.

My favorite new way to write capitals is using flourishes as I did in "Pleasant" and "Honeycomb."

Peggy, thanks for these examples!
