Balance - I had difficulty creating balance from the cutouts, and painting the composition I created.  As I'm used to painting directly from images it was hard to make a composition myself.  

Proportion - I decided to play with an exaggerated proportion.  I had a lot of fun playing with the size and colors.  

Emphasis - Using contrast emphasis, I decided to paint the red poppy in the middle.  I liked adding the buds around them.  As my favorite piece, I chose to rework it on a smaller paper.  

 

Unity - 

Unity - I worked on the unity composition with these flowers, I tried to rework it because, initially, I was not too fond of the first one.  However, the original turned out better than the rework.  

 

Variety - First played with with the daises, and then lillies.
