Plants, pen rolls, and jewelry

*Simple seamless*

First we have one of my plants. I'm very happy with the way the backdrop just disappears.

Next we have some pen rolls that I would like to sell on Etsy. Again, very happy with the bright white disappearing sweep.

This was a lot harder than I expected and didn't seem appropriate for all of my subjects. I couldn't get the color balance how I wanted it for the green leaves and the white background without blowing out the blue on the wizard, and losing the texture on his beard, thus having it look over-edited. But I had a lot of fun trying to make a story with the wizard and his cauldron bubbling with plants:

Took a simple shot of the plant cauldron from above:

Tried some actually flat flat-lays with the pen rolls, plus foreshortened one looking down on the roll:

This was also fun but a lot more challenging than I expected.

I tried to choose props to bring out the fun, retro vibe of the floral and denim pen roll. But I don't think it looks very polished.

For the green pen roll, I may have leaned too hard into the "black/classic" vibe and trying to tell the "story" that a pen roll lets you travel with your stationary. I think it looks a bit forced. Still fun though.

I think the styled flat lays worked best for my resin jewelry. The story here is that the flowers are death blooms from a very hardy plant, so I was playing with themes of death, femininity, and preservation.
