My granddaughter’s hen, Salty, was recently killed by a raccoon so I made this painting for her. I put both hens in the painting to make it more interesting. They are Cuckoo Marans. I loved the idea of using the pens and brush pen for the outlining and the black details. I used St. Petersburg watercolors.
