Pear-adise
Hannah loves Em's classes! (We do too!) They truly are paradise for us!
So, this time around, the artist shares her intent behind her work...
Hannah says pears don’t really stand up by themselves, so her pear is lying down and a light source is shining on it. The white in the background is polka dots.
A while ago we 3 did some kawaii drawings of snacks and they all had faces on them and I think that made its way to her pear…and actually mine too.

Talk about Pear-adise.... I can't stop looking at Hannah's Mom's pear project! I just love the bold colors and the textury feel of it! I love how the lines take your eyes on different directional journeys around the piece!

I decided to leave the paper bag in tact cuz in Fashion Design School our instructor suggested we try to put our designs on portable objects, so the world will see them. The world is our gallery. Maybe it can be a gift bag for giving someone a bag of pears sometime.
No matter what is going on in the world….these classes of Em’s are like Calgon and take us away. (Google that if you weren’t born yet when those commercials came out.) Thank you, for another inspiring and fun class, Em!
