Maria, I love the detail around the parrot’s eye—it anchors the piece, while the rest of the bird is beautifully suggested with loose, expressive brushwork. The vibrant splashes in the background give it a joyful energy. It reminds me a bit of Marc Chagall’s dreamy use of color and freedom, though with a more grounded subject.
