<p>Emily, your line and wash Sun Conure turned out beautifully! Your ink work looks fantastic. I love the line weight variation you've developed all throughout. Great work drawing those different feathers! Your hatching (alternative shading) also looks great in those shadow areas. I like how you kept the angle in these groups of lines consistent. Your watercolor washes also look fantastic. I really like how your vignette-style background turned out. You created a gradient successfully, where the deeper blues around the bird slowly lighten to eventually turn into the whiteness of the paper. Lovely work, as well, bringing in some subtle splattering for visual texture. You've created a great balance between ink and watercolor, where nothing is overdone and there is a freshness to the piece. Very well done!
