I don't have a pug, but I do love them!

For this project, I transferred this black and white image onto a latex block using a pencil trace.

Then I carved out the block. Using this carving technique is really a great way to get that fur texture.

After that, I did a series of proofs.

And then I did the final set of prints.

After that, I had an inspiration to do this project as a holiday card, so I brought it into Photoshop for some post-production. So here he is in zombie green. It's a little bit merry and a little bit creepy. : )
