This art style was great to learn about! It was such a challenge. The paper is wild and creates opportunity for infinite subtlety. I tried the ink and brush against regular watercolor paper and couldn't get anywhere close to the effects from the rice paper. Another great thing about the paper is it forces you to be present in the moment.

I feel like I started to get the hang of the mechanics, but my final project still looks clumsy. Eh, I need to practice more.
