It is good to watch other students work on Skillshare. Not only because their is so many beautiful work but also to find teachers with interesting classes. That is how I find Attabeiras class about one liner portraits! And Attabeira  has more one liner classes! So a lot practice and beautiful!

She posted a portrait to exercise, but I used photos of Abbateire mostly, she is an excellent model! I made portraits before the excersices of the class. Some were better with a black canvas.

The style I prefer is  a thick and thin almost continuous line. The variation in the thickness gives me  more expression to parts of the subject like small and bigger curls and the shoulder. But I need to practice a lot to find my ‘own voice’!
