One for the road. ..

Just because I enjoyed making these so much. Today, day 8, prompts: Sock, and drinking coffee.

Looking for some creatives to join me and post their projects!

I've reached the end of the challenge! Here are my takeaways after doing this for one week: I really started to look forward to choosing new prompts each day. I started sketching ideas in an art idea journal with pencil and paper each day, before sketching in Procreate. It was there I fleshed out how the final might look. My favorite drawing was the one from day one (the thinking backpack), as it was simple and colorful, less full of added "stuff." I wish I had thought more about how the days would all be more cohesive in the final space. I found this a great way to create some fun art each day and build a habit, and it forced me to be more imaginitive and not rely on someone else's examples so much. It's a great exercise and I recommend it! Day seven prompts: Mushroom, swinging. Thanks, Simon, for this class.

Day Six: Because knife guys finish last...I drew out of the box as prompts: "Bread," and "crawling." Geesh. Had to think on this one....

Day five, Cool Cat: I feel like this has been done many times, but today for prompts I pulled "cat" and "skateboarding."

Day Four: Drop Da Ink. I pulled out for prompts "octopus" and "dancing..." these are starting to look like a kid's imagination running wild, which I think might be the point? LOL

Day three: Very tired as I did this one, but didn't want to skip it.... Originally had a teddy bear on the sea floor but decided all the waves and bubbles were enough. I usually tend to overdo things. My horse is also a bit spiny! LOL. Sea horses actually sleep with their eyes open, and they DO anchor themselves to coral or grasses so they can stay in one place while sleeping.

Day Two: A Running Building. Is he running around the block?

Day One: The Thinker. I created a backpack thinking. Can't wait to put all the days onto one page.
